Our journey began in 1970 where Savonor was created by Mr. Dieter Kuntze, a German immigrant who came from a long line of soap-makers dating back to the Holy Roman Empire. It first started as a family business but with time became one of the largest manufacturing company specialized in hygiene, food and cosmetic products in Burundi.
After his retirement in 1996, his son, the current Chairman of Savonor, Mr. Matthias Kuntze took over.
